Nepalese Statutory Law has defined marriage as, “If a man and a woman accept each other as the husband and wife through any occasion, ceremony, formal or other act, a marriage shall be deemed to have been concluded.”

Step 1 : Go to your concerned ward office. (Both husband and wife)
Step 2 : Fill up a Marriage registration form provided by the ward office.
Step 3 : Fill up an online form through the website ……public.donidcr.gov.np………… and note down the token number provided. ( This facility may be provided by the ward itself or you may need to go to cyber).
Step 4 : Submit necessary documents along with the form to the concerned ward officer.
Step 5: Marriage registration certificate will be issued.
